Research & Planning 18: Going over our new song!

Me and Seher sat through our lesson listening to our song "In It by Rahmin ft Nahra" because of how unknown our song is we were unable to find the song lyrics online that we would give to Adrianna to memorise and lip sync with and so we spent the beginning of our lesson listening to the song and writing out the lyrics the best that we could.

We are planning on sending the lyrics to Adriana so she can listen to the song and get a fell for them before our first shoot and hopefully start memorising bits because I must say the song is quite catchy!

Research & Planning 17: Finding our artist!!!

Me and Seher had a discussion about who we would use for the shoot and we considered many factors including:
*Suitability
*Availability
*Overall Acting ability
*Convincing character

and in the end we were able to agree on having one of our fellow students Adriana play our Artist!
Seher is messaging her now as we speak and she has agreed and now we will be creating a group chat to discuss our plans more efficiently and discuss everyones availability and film schedule.

Reseach & Planning 15: SMOKE BOMBS DELIVERED TODAY - EXCITED TO FILM!!

Our Smoke bombs came in the mail this morning and now I'm feeling really excited to go out and film this MV especialy with our main component now in the mix!

Research and Planning 13: Going out and asking our target audience some questions

Yesterday we went and asked 30 of our target audience 3 questions through the use of a digital questionnaire to gain a basis on what type of music video we should be focusing on for our target audience of teenagers to young adults and these were the questions asked and the results:
1. What genre of music do you prefer listening too?
-Mainstream pop
-Hip-Hop
-Foreign 
-Jazz
-Electronic
-RnB and Soul
-Other

2. What type of music videos interest you the most? (Can choose multiple)

-Typical of the genre (i.e stereotypes)

-Colourful and vibrant

-Dull and simplistic

-Features the artist

-Without the artist

*For clarification I did elaborate on what certain words meant in each context. i.e dull as in the opposite of courful not boring and mainstream pop as in the popular tracks we have on currently trending
3. What type of artists do you listen to the most?  (Can choose multiple)
-Female solo
-Male solo
-Girl Groups
-Boy Groups
- Mixed Groups

From these Results we were happy to see that the top preferences linked with our plans for our music video. Even though originally we were planning todo a dark and mysterious concept we came up with the suggestion of using props such as smoke bombs to add colourful effects which we can manipulate with our edits to create a really nice aesthetic video.  Hopefully, we can interview these people again once our music video is made and see their opinions on it again!

Well... Today has just taken a turn for the worst for me but like I said I won't give up and I will just work harder in my new group and not let this affect my plans to do well on this media project! Since A lot of my previous research will still apply to my new Group or should i say duo since its just me and Seher now... hopefully we can find anyone to work with us if there are still people in the beginning stages of their projects but we understand that this may not happen and for now me and Seher are planning to meet as a duo and start planning again for our new Song.
